Microsoft Internet Explorer - When it doesn't disconnect automatically:

When you close out of Internet Explorer or Outlook Express you should see a small dialog box asking if you want to disconnect. If not do the following:

1. Goto Start Menu/Settings/Control Panel

2. Double-click on Internet Options

3. Click on the Connections Tab

4. Click on the Settings Button

5. Click on the Advanced Button

6. Make sure the Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed box is checked.

7. Click OK buttons all the way back to the Control Panel
