- Cost (Basic Account): The Basic Account buys you 40 hours of internet usage per month for $10 per month. If you go over 40 hours, you will be billed for the overage at 2¢ per minute. You can call at any time and move up to the Unlimited Account.
- Cost (Unlimited Account): The Unlimited Account buys you unlimited internet usage for $19.95 per month.
- Onsite Setup Option: Novice users may choose our on-site setup option. We will setup and test their internet, give them a tutorial on using the internet and email, and check their system's general health. The cost is $25 in addition to the other startup costs. Users outside of Montmorency county will also be charged 40¢ per mile for mileage.
- Billing Timing: Your first bill will be mailed out one month after you sign up.
- Payment methods: We can accept Cash (if you stop in), Credit Cards, and Checks.
- Pay Ahead: Users may pay ahead for as many months as they wish. Basic users should understand that they may still get a bill if they have overage.
- Discount for yearly payment: Users get a 10% discount if they pay for an entire year at once.
- Reconnection: If a user had been disconnected for non-payment, we will reconnect them as soon as their account is paid in full.
- Vacation Hold: Users who go south for the winter can be put on hold for free. The hold will take effect at the end of their current billing period (this avoids partial credits, which we prefer to avoid). When the get back, we will re-activate their account immediately, but they will not owe until the next full billing period.
- Tech Support: We provide tech support 8-5 weekdays. After hours and on Saturdays you can call 800-660-9647 and receive tech support from our backbone provider.
- Free Support: We will provide free help to users with issues involving their ability to connect, view webpages and send and receive email using the email account we provide. If a user's problem appears to go beyond these issues (such as a virus or malfunctioning hardware), we will give them some pointers on how to proceed for free. We are also happy to provide paid tech support as part of our Computer Services business. Costs are $38 per hour on-site and $33 per hour in-house. It should be noted that usually this dividing line between free and paid support is also reached at the point where we would have to look at the computer in person.
